Academy Announcements!

For the month of FEBRUARY 2008, the following members took and received scores for the following classes at STARFLEET ACADEMY:

Candace Webb took one course from the Institute of LEADERSHIP STUDIES, and passed OTS (Officer's Training School) with HONORS!!!and

Walter Green, III took four courses, all from the Institute of MILITARY STUDIES!!!
The courses were the Intermediate Security Officers Course which he Passed , Early Law Enforcement History and TOS Rank Recognition - both of which he passed with HONORS, and TNG Early Rank Recognition in which he received a grade of DISTINCTION!!!CONGRATULATIONS to both of you!!!!!!!

USS Top Gun Holiday Party Update!

After re-choosing a venue for the Party, we have decided on a Luncheon Buffet in Annapolis. All the details are not yet set in stone but here is some information:

The Hotel for those wishing to stay Friday or Saturday nights:Homestead Studio Suites on Admiral Chochrain Dr. in Annapolis, Md.

Date: December 15th, 2007

Activities in planning along with the Holiday Party: (depending on interest)
Friday night: Pizza and Gaming; Saturday: Historical Tour of the Naval Academy, Buffet luncheon in downtown Annapolis, Sci-fi Movie matinée, Drive-thru "Lights on the Bay" in Sandy Point Park, and lastly a possibility of some chocolate fondue or evening snack; Sunday: Breakfast together before those staying over leave for home.

We will also have a collection for Toys for Tots at the Holiday Party.

We hope that people will be interested in all the activities planned, but the Holiday Party Buffet is the main event. We will have more information as it is etched in stone about the venue for the Party but want to have everyone deciding to attend be able to ask for the time off if needed.
