About the USS Top Gun - NCC 75029

The USS Top Gun is a Starfleet International chapter based in Bowie, MD. We have members in several Mid-Atlantic states and a few others . We are always looking for new people to join our crew, and we invite you to contact us if you would be interested in spending some of your time with us.

Name our Mascot!


This bear was a gift to the crew of the Top Gun from Dennis and Jill Rayburn of the SS Nikola Tesla after taking a ride on a Top Gun coaster.

We need to have a name for this really cute guy by the End of October. Please leave your name choices in the comments of this post for us to poll our crew to get the winning name!

Holiday Party 2007 - Buffet for the USS Top Gun - DECEMBER 15th

ACTIVITIES in PLANNING:
HOLIDAY PARTY:
The Crew of the USS Top Gun would like to invite you to a Holiday Party in December. We need a commitment of 30 people (10 to 15 couples plus a few individuals) to have a buffet style holiday party. *** NEW *** We are planning a LUNCHEON BUFFET for those interested in day tripping to Annapolis, Md. ***NEW*** We really need folks who believe they would attend this Holiday party to post to the list asap to see how viable our event is.
A collection box for "Toys for Tots" from the USS Top Gun and her crew will there at the party.

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW VENUE FOUND!

After MUCH searching, a site has been found for the showing of this film in the DC area:

George Washington Univ

Marvin Ctr Grand Ballroom

at Foggy Bottom Metro

Activities for October










Movie to see for the month of October is
Resident Evil:Extiniction!

October's Independent activity is Haunted!
Black Beard’s Revenge…Curse of the Severed Head
Castle Bennett at Arundel Mills Mall
Markoff's Haunted Forest
*people forming group outings in their location from these independent activities will receive extra participation points

On the Group Activities list for October:

Creating a Rocky Horror Picture Show outing would an AWESOME way to get great promotion points by finding a Theatre to see it in and leading an Away Team, or Hosting a Horror Show at your dwelling.
(PS: if you are away at school, find a couple of people to go with you for more fun)

Trip to Great Adventure America for the Fright Fest, however, we may need an Away Team Leader to rally the group together for the day.
